For years I have been in the field of bridal and formal wear, running my business Herz Design Studio. I help my clients to transform their dream into reality, by considering all facts of body size, age and budget. It’s a very rewarding feeling to connect with other people through fashion, and it brings me so much joy to touch someone else’s life and perception about themselves.
The Professional Photo, Film, TV & Personal Stylist’s Course brought more depth and organisation to my existing understanding of the industry. It framed up all the ideas into a systematic approach, helping to achieve successful results. It also opened my mind to broader and more international concepts than I had previously thought about.
At first I found the skin tone analysis a bit challenging, but by the time I was finishing off the course I had eased into a better understanding of it – thanks to the level of knowledge that course has taken me to. It’s extremely rewarding to be able to work out the perfect colour for any client. I love to use colours in out of the box ways, which fulfils my “inner designer”.
My tutor was incredible in her feedback for my assignments; I knew they had been looked at deeply and very well analysed. Spending that much time to connect, and understand my thoughts and needs from the course, is nothing I have seen before – even in my years of university study. The friendly team who have been with me over the phone have also been so supportive.
Since finishing the course, more opportunities have been opening. I can fulfil a lot more of my dreams, as I know how to reach more people and have a lot more knowledge to share. I started my own blog for fashion styling, and have also been working with few of my clients on personal styling basics.
My heart jumps with happiness every time I go back through my tutorials again, and discover something new about fashion in a bit more depth.
I am a wife and a mother, with a business and social obligations, so the flexibility of the course was exactly what I needed. This course has even encouraged me to develop a few more areas in my life, to reach the same level of professionalism and self-satisfaction.
