I have always had a passion for fashion. As a young girl, I loved mixing and matching clothes. I was always very creative and expressed my creativity through my sense of styling and dressing others.
I chose to study with the Australian College of Professional Styling because it was easier for me to study online as I was working full time. Another reason was that the course offered a diverse range of styling subjects, unlike any other school.
The Professional Photo, Film, TV & Personal Stylist’s Course was fantastic. I really enjoyed how it provided all the knowledge regarding the various styling opportunities that are available in the industry. I loved my time with the College as I felt it taught me a lot about the different styling techniques and really assisted me with picking the right career path.
I have always had a passion for making people feel good about themselves and that is why I decided on a path as a personal shopper. Armed with this knowledge, I was able to secure the role of Personal Shopper for Myer, based in Sydney City.
I’ve been in this position for four years now and I couldn’t have picked a better career path with such a wonderful company. I am enjoying my job every day and hope to continue to grow as an amazing personal shopper.
I am very grateful for having studied with the Australian College of Professional Styling. It has helped me understand the fashion industry and lead to me achieving my goals.
