We arrived in Australia in January and I wanted to do a styling course that would teach me everything I needed to start my career as a professional stylist in the comfort of my own home and in my own time.
A friend recommended the Australian College of Professional Styling’s The Professional Photo, Film, TV & Personal Stylist’s Course. Another friend of hers had completed the course previously and she had great things to say about it. As soon as I got the information pack, I knew this course was exactly the one I was looking for.
Each tutorial was very informative with great examples. The course covered every aspect of styling and gave me a great overview of the many different areas of styling available. I felt much more confident after completing each assignment and the feedback provided by my tutor was detailed and constructive. My tutor’s advice was invaluable and something I will refer to time and time again.
During my course I started a Facebook page based on my style and fashion recommendations and the response has been fantastic! I was even approached to write a fashion blog for an upcoming online fashion magazine.
I am already seeing the benefits of completing this fabulous course and am so glad I did it! Since the course, Love Republic Magazine appointed me as Fashion Blogger and Trend Forecaster. I’ve also been working for scrunch.co and this has great exposure as well as a fabulous opportunity to working in editorial!
