During my time at the Australian College of Professional Styling, I built  ThatsJordyn.com and started my own business at the age of 21.

I am Jordyn, 'ThatsJordyn-Personal Stylist', one of the graduates of the Australian College of Professional Styling, and I must say it was such a valuable experience to take part in.

The course so reasonably priced and flexible regarding the payments. I enjoyed that the College provides extended resources (links to external websites) to further your knowledge outside of the course itself. It encouraged you to keep pushing yourself, do extra research on all the topics, and never stop learning.

I have learned so much from my time in the course about such a range of different topics, which helped narrow down what I'd like to do going forward in the fashion industry and where I'd like to take/ use all this knowledge. I have put so much of what I have learned here to use already, even before I had completed the final assessment.

During my time at the Australian College of Professional Styling,' I built ThatsJordyn.com and started my own business at the age of 21. Not only have I used the information learnt, but I have access to all the tutorials ongoing, where I can refer to all the lessons and external links provided when I want to delve deeper.

I can't choose a specific highlight from this course, but my overall feeling is pride. I am so proud of what I have achieved throughout this course in such a short time, how far I pushed myself and proved just what I am truly capable of.

During the course, you are assigned a tutor who will look over all your assessments and provide in-depth feedback and suggestions on what you can do to take your work a few steps further when you have met the criteria. Although having the feedback after the assessment is very beneficial, you need to be very self-sufficient and disciplined to take on this course. The majority of it is reading, researching and applying the information yourself. Since there are no set time frames for the assessments to be completed, it may be easy to fall behind if you aren't disciplined or dedicated.

Luckily for me, I was hooked from the first tutorial and only wanted to do more and more. To combat my want/need for more, I enlisted all my friends and family to be my test subjects throughout the course, giving each one of them full wardrobe makeovers!

I also created a fashion & styling-based Instagram  to keep me occupied in-between assessments. I have also been working towards longer-form videos and content surrounding fashion on my Youtube . I am running my social media, blog, and website alongside working full time and being ready to take on some clients to style! I have also become the 'Office Fashion Consultant' and get questions regarding my co-workers' outfits every day. It is safe to say the office fashion has never looked so good!

This course has shown me just how much I am capable of and how exciting the world of fashion really is. In conclusion, The Australian College of Professional Styling has been such a blessing, and I cannot wait to apply my knowledge first-hand.
